Welcome to Anatomy.se. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Anatomy.se website and platform (collectively, the "Service"), which connects researchers with study participants and provides medical tools and resources. By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service.
By accessing this website and using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you are using our services on behalf of an organization (such as a research institution), you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms.
To access certain features of our Service, you may need to register for an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating an account and to update your information to keep it accurate and current.
Our platform facilitates connections between researchers and potential study participants. By applying to participate in research studies through our platform, you acknowledge that: (1) Anatomy.se is not conducting the research itself, but providing a connection service; (2) participation in any study is voluntary and subject to separate consent procedures established by the researchers; (3) you should carefully review all study information before participating; and (4) Anatomy.se does not guarantee that you will be selected for any study for which you apply.
Researchers who post studies on our platform agree to: (1) accurately describe their study, including risks and benefits; (2) obtain appropriate ethical approvals from relevant ethics committees or institutional review boards; (3) handle all participant data in accordance with applicable laws and regulations; (4) honor the confidentiality and privacy of study participants; and (5) respond to applicant inquiries in a timely manner.
Products purchased through our marketplace are subject to the manufacturer's warranties and terms. Anatomy.se makes every effort to verify the quality and accuracy of product listings but does not itself manufacture these products. Medical professionals should use their judgment when purchasing and using tools for professional purposes. Return policies are specific to each product and will be clearly stated on the product page.
Unless otherwise stated, Anatomy.se and/or its licensors own the intellectual property rights for all material on the platform. All content, trademarks, data, and information on the Service are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not modify, reproduce, or publicly display any content from our Service without explicit permission.
By posting content on our platform (such as comments, forum posts, or research descriptions), you grant Anatomy.se a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, modify, reproduce, and display such content in connection with our Service. You represent that you have all necessary rights to the content you post and that it does not violate any third-party rights or applicable laws.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Anatomy.se shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from: (a) your use or inability to use our Service; (b) any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein; (c) any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from our Service; (d) the outcome of any research study you participate in; or (e) any errors, mistakes, or inaccuracies in the content provided through our Service.

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. By continuing to access or use our Service after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
